Why patients choose us

What makes Standard Dental different?

The clinic's name is its rule: "Without a standard, care wavers." Here is what that means in practice.

Specialists who plan together

An oral surgeon, two prosthodontists, two orthodontists and a conservative dentistry specialist look at your case from the angles it actually involves. Five of the six trained at Seoul National University Dental Hospital.

Our own dental lab

Crowns, veneers and preview tips are made in-house by a master technician with about 19 years' experience, according to the clinic's YouTube channel — so shade and shape can be adjusted on the day.

Digital planning

3D CT, TRIOS and CEREC Primescan intraoral scanners, and 3D orthodontic simulation with a face scan mean your plan is built on measurements, not guesswork.

How implants are planned

No over-treatment

The dentist who treats you runs your consultation face to face. The aim is the fewest visits that do the job properly, and keeping your own teeth where that's realistic.

A treatment guarantee

With yearly check-ups, implant fixtures are re-treated at no charge within 3 years and prosthetics within 1 year, under Fair Trade Commission standard terms. Accidents and careless use are excluded.

Expats & visitors

Living in Seoul, or flying in for treatment?

Whether you're posted to Seoul with your family or comparing implant and veneer costs from Sydney, Singapore or Dubai, here's how it works.

  • Send photos first.  Share photos, a panoramic X-ray or CT by WhatsApp or LINE for a first opinion before you book flights.
  • Plan your stay.  Whitening can be one visit, veneers about a week, and implants usually two trips a few months apart.
  • Know your insurance.  Residents enrolled in NHIS pay insured rates for covered care; visitors pay non-insured rates.
  • Language.  Tell us your language when you book and we will prepare; translation apps and the 1330 helpline help on the day.
