Quoted after consultation

Which prices aren't published, and why?

Some treatments vary too much from person to person for a single price to be meaningful. For these, you get a quote after an exam — or a first estimate from your photos and X-rays.

Insurance, VAT & payment

Do expats and tourists pay the same dental prices in Korea?

Living in Korea

Enrolled in NHIS

Korea's National Health Insurance covers scaling once a year for adults, and implants for insured people aged 65 and over — up to two per lifetime, with a co-payment of about 30%. This applies to registered foreign residents enrolled in NHIS as well as Korean citizens. Bring your residence card or ID so your insurance can be checked.

Visiting Korea

No NHIS

The fees on this page are the clinic's standard non-covered fees. Visitors without NHIS pay non-insured rates for everything, including treatment that NHIS would cover for residents.

Cosmetic treatment

10% VAT, no tourist refund

Cosmetic procedures such as veneers, whitening and gum contouring are subject to 10% VAT. The tourist VAT refund for cosmetic procedures ended on 31 December 2025, so don't count on a refund.

Paying

Ask the front desk

The front desk will confirm payment options for your visit. As general advice, most Korean clinics accept major international cards. Instalment payment is available for orthodontics. If you plan to claim from an insurer abroad, tell us when you book so we can tell you which documents are available.

How do I get a price estimate before I travel?

  1. Send your photos and X-rays

Message clear photos of your teeth, and a panoramic X-ray or CT if you have one, by WhatsApp or LINE, or use the online form.

  2. Get a first opinion

A dentist reviews what you've sent and gives a preliminary view of the options and likely costs.

  3. Confirm in person

The final plan and price are confirmed only after an in-person exam and 3D CT at the clinic.

FAQ

Dental prices in Jamsil, Seoul: common questions

Does the ₩1,100,000 implant price include the crown?

Yes. According to the clinic's fee disclosure, ₩1,100,000 per tooth covers implant placement and a zirconia, all-ceramic, PFM or metal crown. With a gold or PFG crown it is ₩1,300,000.

Is a bone graft included in the implant price?

No. A bone graft with BMP is listed separately at ₩1,000,000, and a sinus lift is quoted after consultation. Not everyone needs grafting; the CT shows whether you do.

Why aren't veneer and whitening prices listed?

The clinic doesn't publish them because they vary with the number of teeth and the work involved. Send photos by WhatsApp or LINE for a first estimate.

Do foreigners pay more?

The published fees are the same standard non-covered fees for everyone. The difference is insurance: people enrolled in NHIS pay insured rates for covered treatment, while visitors without NHIS pay non-insured rates for everything.

Can I get a VAT refund on cosmetic dental treatment?

No. The tourist VAT refund for cosmetic procedures ended on 31 December 2025. Cosmetic procedures are subject to 10% VAT.

Can I pay in instalments?

Instalment payment is available for orthodontic treatment. For other treatment, ask the front desk about payment options.

Are these prices final?

They are the clinic's standard per-unit fees. Your final cost is confirmed after examination, and prices may change.
