Quick answer
Bionic First is Standard Dental's veneer preview in Jamsil, Seoul: paper-thin trial tips designed in the clinic's in-house lab from a 3D scan of your teeth, shaped to your face and lip line. They clip on with no drilling and no adhesive, so you can see and photograph the look before deciding on veneers. According to the clinic's fee list, the preview costs ₩100,000 (approx. US$70) for 6 teeth per arch, and the tips take 2–3 days to make.
Is it right for you?
Veneers are hard to picture from a screen or a mock-up on someone else. A preview lets you judge the design on your own face.
How it works
Your teeth are scanned digitally in a few minutes — no impression trays. You talk through what you'd like to change.
The clinic's lab designs the tips to your face and lip line. This takes 2–3 days.
The tips clip over your own teeth. Check them in the mirror, smile and take photos.
Because the design is made in the clinic's own lab, feedback from your try-on goes straight to the people who would make your final veneers. The clinic's master technician has about 19 years' experience, according to the clinic's YouTube channel, and veneers are planned by prosthodontists Dr. Je-woong Yeon and Dr. Jong-hoe Kim — see our specialist dentists.
